Works Really Well

Good value for money, perhaps not the best filter
There’s still some hard water coming out this filter, so it doesn’t filter extremely well. It definitely reduces the hardness of the water though. Not bad value for the price but also not perfect either

I tested the water chemistry. Chlorine: 0
I’m an environmental engineer specialized on water treatment systems and water chemistry. I tested the water for free residual chlorine. Result: <0.01 mg/l, which means that the chlorine in the water is so low that is undetectable by the certified testing device. I used Palintest Pooltest 6 colorimeter. This shower head filter does it's job. Nice and simple design, easy to install, easy to clean. I'm very sensitive to chlorine, I get skin rushes very easily and chlorine also damages my hair. Without water filtration I suffered a lot. This shower head is easy to install therefore can be carried if someone travels a lot like me who works on cruise ships where the water is chlorinated due to public health requirements. This shower head doesn't require any tools to install, but the other shower filters the "UFO" types (I just call them this way due to their shapes) need tools that people normally don't carry in their travelbags. They are very good ones, but a bit more complicated to install I have tested earlier the efficiency of another shower head filter that had ceramic balls as filters and promised some C vitamin treatment (???). I could detect chlorine in the water, but not with this shower head filter that use active carbon filtration.

Great fix for low water pressure
After much research, I bought this because the shower head filter as I had recently moved and was suffering from extremely dry hair and skin and also my water pressure was very low! Previously was unable to use my shower head due to the fact I would have to stand directly underneath it to catch the dribble of water, BUT, with this shower head the pressure has been AMAZING and my hair and skin is back to feeling super smooth! I have been using this shower head for just over 9 months and the pressure has been consistent throughout. I am going to purchase my second filter because I now cannot go back to the way me shower previously was!!

Already leaking in 3 mo after installation.
This product was easy to install (handyman did it in 10 min.) and for the first few months it was lovely – much better than previous shower head but 3 months in, it’s already leaking and has substantially decreased water flow. Super disappointed as cheaper filters on other three showers are still going strong 18 months after install.

Powerhose level showerhead!
The most powerful handheld shower head I have ever owned. I know a lot of the brands say their showerheads are powerful but them you try it and it is so weak. This showerhead make a you feel like you are using a powerhose and it is so refreshing as we have never had that level of pressure in the shower. Must have!

Wow amazing
Started to use this and my hair and skin feel soft and different, even the lathering was more effective. The only question I have is about Hard water… does this shower filter out calcium and magnesium carbonates, bicarbonates and sulfates? Because I hear hard water is not good for skin and hair. I know this shower filters other things out as well as chlorine. Thanks

Works well on my Mira shower
The shower head.
This is a replacement shower head with built in water filter to remove chlorine and other impurities. It also optimises the flow so that you get more pressure but use less water.
Installation.
IT fits a standard shower pipe; I am using it on a Mira Sprint and it fitted fine.
In use.
It certainly gives a better flow and a bit more pressure making the shower more satisfying.
Filters.
The carbon filters are replaceable but I can’t seem to find one looking on Amazon which is disappointing.
Overall.
The head does work well but it will eventually need a new filer but I can’t seem to locate one on Amazon or anyone else. Not sure how long it is going to last.
Update.
The supplier says you can go direct to get them – one filter lasts for 8000 gallons of water so I won’t need it yet.

Great pressure and great filter
Initially I only rated this a 2 saying the water pressure was poor. However, although I did run it after I installed until the water ran clear, apparently I didn’t run it long enough. Today I bathed the dog and was stunned at how great the water pressure was. I just took a shower and for the first time in over 2 years I feel like my hair actually got fully rinsed. I live in an apartment with very poor water pressure in the shower. So, I would definitely recommend this. The filter is also very good because I smell absolutely NO chlorine, water didn’t burn my eyes and no itching after the shower.

Can’t alter the water flow
I liked the idea of a showerhead that removed contaminants as I suffer from eczema and skin itchiness and am struggling to find the source of the problem. I have changed to natural washing products for me and my clothes and still suffer. Sadly this shower head can’t cope with our mixed pressure – great cold water from the mains but weak from the hot and so in order to get a warm shower we lose pressure and this shower head reduced this to almost a dribble.
We are getting a plumber in to see what we can do – we had a pump but it went wrong so we had it taken out. If we get it sorted I will be replacing the current shower head with this one again as I really want to enjoy the benefits of chlorine-free shower water.

Felt really refreshed after showering
The shower head handle is a little larger than a standard one but it does house the filter. It was very easy to replace the old shower head with this one.
The tiny pin prick size spray holes give a very powerful and refreshing shower. Love the idea of the filter clearing to water of so many impurities and irritants. My skin felt cleaner after the shower. It softened the water which made my hair feel softer too. Like the idea about stickers to remind when the filter needs changing, which is in about 6 months.

Brilliant shower head, best I’ve ever had!
This I think is the best shower head we’ve ever had!
It’s a filter shower head that removes 99% of chlorine and water impurities, you get just the shower head, no hose but fits most hoses.
It has high water pressure by 200% and saves upto 30% of water. It has 118 tiny laser cut cone shaped water holes, so much better than your average shower head.
Once it starts to clog you can remove the cartridge and put it back the other way round and it will be back to normal.
Was very easy to install, just screw it on and that’s it, anybody can do it!
I can highly recommend this shower head, its brilliant.

No Option to Change the Flow of Water but Otherwise Works Great
We use a similar shower head filter because we live in a hard water area and these filters are vital. When we started using them, we could instantly feel the difference in our skin and hair so will continue to use them.
This was simple enough to install and the hubby had it fitted in no time. It works great and the water pressure has improved somewhat too. The only negative would be that you cannot change the flow of water – this runs like steady “rainwater”? whereas our other shower head had the option to switch to a solid flow which I found better for hair washing, this flow seems to take longer to rinse hair, so if it had both options it would be perfect.
Includes instructions, spare washer and other handy bits. It is recommended (depending on the area you live in) to change the filter every 6 months – so that’s pretty good too compared to our previous showerhead.

It maybe not the prettiest shower head I’ve seen but its definitely worth its price.
Personally I dont like the thickness of the handle (to thick and may not be comfortable for many people to hold it) but I know it is manufactured for a reason- to fit the filter which clears impurities in water( the filter should be replaced every 6 months and mean time in case of slower water pressure, it should be rotated upside down and put back inside the handle). Any changes on the filter will be visible in the small “window” on the side of the handle, thanks to this we can see is any action required or not, without unscrewing the head.
The water in our area smells of chlorine , could smell it especially when having bath, now with filter the smell has been reduced, skin irritation too.
Our water pressure is pretty good and water flows very fast through this shower head ( same time it creates strong “wind” like waterfalls) so we need to install the small green water saving valve.
I’m glad I had an opportunity to discover and try this product.

great for reducing the level of hardness in water
I have very hard water in my area so it was great to get the opportunity to review this.
the shower head handle is thicker than average, but that is because it have to accommodate the actual filter cartridge which should be changed about every 6 months or sooner depending on the hardness of the water in your area. you get some stickers to put on the handle which indicate when the next change of cartridge will be. i purchase an extra one so that i don’t get caught short .
The shower comes with instructions for changing the filter and instructions on what to do if you have high water pressure. There was one part that there were no instructions for so was not sure what it was for, but I kept it for just in case. you get a free water restrictor and a washer .
As soon as I switched on the shower I noticed a marked difference to the flow of my water, in fact my water came out much faster than it previously had.
the only down side and that is not reflected in my star rating is that you cannot change the flow of water to different water flows, not a big deal though.
Hopefully my shower door and my skin and hair will show the benefits of using this shower head shortly.

Just what we needed
As we live in a high chloride area we seem to have to replace shower heads every few months as they block up and lose there efficiency.
With this filtered shower head it takes out the impurity’s and gives a more effective rain of water.
The shower outlet holes enable for a free flow of water with two different power levels the inner being a massage shower whilst the outer is a softer pour of water.
The filters last for 6 months and are really easy to change although there were no spare filters with this model I would recommend this to anyone who needs to filter their water.

Nice ‘soft’ shower but no stream adjustments
I was attracted to this because of the tiny perforations. I have an electric shower which gives quite a low pressure, especially in winter, and had been looking into ‘mist’ showers but they’re hard to find at present. This one doesn’t create a mist; it’s a fairly narrow stream of thin, aerated soft jets. I like the feel of it! The downside is that there are no adjustments, you can’t change it to a wider or narrower stream.
The shower head is thoughtfully supplied with a spare washer, a reducing valve for users with high water pressure, some plumber’s tape and stickers to remind you when the cartridge needs replacing – six months is recommended.
I’m not sure whether the filter’s doing any good – I live in a soft to moderately hard water area, and only have to de-scale the kettle every six months or so. I guess I’ll find out when I check the cartridge after several uses.
It’s a good buy for users with very hard water, but you need to decide whether you’re happy with just the one shower setting.

Good if you have known problems
This review is for the shower head alone as it wasn’t clear that you maybe need the entire system in order to facilitate the full benefits (according to a previous review) but I would think you’ll benefit just as much from the head attachment alone if you have known problems with contaminated water especially.
For a reasonable price you get the shower head attachment along with a bag of bits and bobs to go with it. It’s a rather cheap large feeling shower head in comparison to my old one but that’s probably because the inside of the head has been hollowed out to take the filter which is obviously light. But the larger width of handle won’t suit everyone, especially those who have either small hands, poor grip or arthritic hands, all of whom (like myself) will struggle to cope with holding it comfortably. Some people don’t have the facility to shower with the head held in its holding but rather have to hold it for showering, hence the problem.
It’s relatively easy to use though – just unscrew your old head & screw on the new. The filter’s already in place so the only things you need to do are to determine whether you might need to install the water pressure valve and to pop on the little sticker corresponding to the month for filter renewal. The important thing about this filter and why the unit is a bit dearer than others shown, is that it uses compacted carbon fibre which massively increases the surface area for filtration over units using granules or beads etc.
The shower head itself delivers a double strength spray with outer softer spray and an inner stronger jet but together they make for a rather nice softer overall effect which really is pleasant.
However, I think the head is let down by a lack of options – the head doesn’t rotate to provide varying effects as most of the regular ones do, so if you’re not overly concerned about the filtration aspect and prefer to have options, this probably won’t be the unit for you. However, if you suffer from water contaminants or are concerned about the level of chlorine many councils now insist on adding in, then you should definitely benefit from this,
My only caveat to all of this is that with all such things, you have to trust the manufacturer and take them at their word as you’ve no way of assessing the veracity of their claims, and my water is relatively clear of obvious contaminants so I can’t help on that front. However, previous users have said they’ve found immense benefit and that’s ultimately why reviews are important in determining whether to buy or not.
All in all, it’s a good reasonably priced product and with a 1-year warranty it’s certainly a solid investment to make if you have contamination issues especially or just want cleaner water to shower with!

You have to buy the hose attachment. It won’t work by just replacing your current shower head. But what a difference it makes!! It doesn’t come blasting out, but it does come out much “thicker” than normal shower heads. I can rinse my hair in half the time! We have a well, so no worries about water bills. If you’re on city water it might use too much. I’m loving it, though!
