Miniwell L630 portable water filter is no bigger than a flashlight and turns murky water into crisp and clear drinking water instantaneously. The micro-filtration membrane removes 99.99% of waterborne bacteria and parasites and this means that you can drink water from a river or a lake without having to worry about microbes.

FAQ:
Q: How often do I need to backwash the system?
A: It depends on how clean or dirty the source water is.
When you feel the flow rate slowing down, backwash can improve flow rate.
(Note: To extend filter life, always use the best fresh water source you can access.
If raw water is cloudy, wait for sediment to settle out until water appears clear
and then filter the water above the sediment.)
Q: Can I use water filtered from the system itself to backwash the filter?
A: Yes. Filtered water from the filter can be used to backwash.
Collect filtered water in a clean disposable bottle. Squeeze clean water into the filter from the filter outlet.
Q: How do I know its time to replace the filter?
A: The filter will not allow water to flow when its filtration pores are blocked. If the water flow slows
down or there is no water flowing out through the filter, it is time to replace your filter.
Q: Does this work on E.coli and parasites like Giardia and Cryptosporidium?
A: Yes. Miniwell L630 is capable of filtering 99.9% of bacteria and parasites.
Q: Can this filter remove unpleasant taste in raw water?
A: Hollow fiber can not remove unpleasant taste and pigment in raw water.
L630 is the most basic filtration system for fresh water filtration with 99.9% removal rate of all bacteria.
If you would like to improve the taste of water, Miniwell L610, L600, and L620 can fit your needs.
Q: Does it filter salt water?
A: No. Miniwell L630’s filtration pore size on the membrane is 0.1 micron.
Dissolved salt passes through a 0.1 micron membrane.
In other words, Miniwell L630 keeps minerals from natural fresh water sources in filtered water.

Нигде не смог найти вес и объем пакетов для воды, поэтому публикаю сюда для будущих покупателей: вес с колпачком 26 грамм, объем – литр (980мл под завязку). Надёжность этих пакетов вызывает вопросы, но сейчас воду не пропускают. диаметр как у обычной бутылки. Можно использовать как походную флягу. Чай немного осветляет, но вкус остался примерно такой же. Пришло быстро, за пару недель

Ожидал, что по размеру фильтр будет как sawyer mini, но он оказался больше, что скорее хорошо, чем плохо – выше пропускная способность, легче продавливать воду. Визуально размеры сравнить можно по фото, имею sawyer mini и sawyer squeeze. Из плюсов – резьба под 28мм как на входе, так и на выходе. Такая конструкция упрощает промывку фильтра и не требует ношения с собой шприца как в случае с sawyer – накрутил пакет или бутылку с отфильтрованной водой и дал напор в обратку.

Гибкие фляжки действительно имеют резьбу как у обычных бутылок газировки. Навинчиваются на фильтр. Можно прикрутить пробку с поилкой от спортивных бутылок. Использовать гибкую флягу вместо бутылки не особенно удобно, тк форму не держит она совсем. Ручка для пальцев маловата, скорее для пристегивания карабином. Сам фильтр не тестировал, в нем более менее уверен благодаря обзорам с ютуба. В наборе есть штуцер для врезки в емкость с водой. На вид добротная пластмассовая резьба с толстыми силиконовыми уплотнениями. Можно будет врезать в любую канистру или мешок.

Пришло за 3 дня, но бывало и быстрее. Упаковано отлично. Если интересует эффективность фильтра, ищите ArcheoClub на Ютубе, они проводили тесты воды из болота, отфильтрованного этим фильтром. Рекомендую немного переплатить за версию с пакетами для жидкостей, места занимают мало, весят тоже, могут пригодиться в походе, только пометьте тот, который будет использоваться для “грязной” воды
