The Miniwell L901 Collapsible Water Purifier Camping is made of food-grade BPA-free plastic (PP) and silicone. It is equipped with a super efficient filtration media composed of an activated carbon fiber filter (ACF), made from high-quality coconut shell, utilizing special treatment technology. Combining an ion exchange resin you get the perfect purification effect (absorption rate is 5 times of the traditional carbon).
It can effectively remove 99% of residual chlorine and many other kinds of harmful substances and carcinogens like arsenic, mercury, benzene, trichloromethane, dimethoate, carbon tetrachloride, and cyanide, and can improve the taste of water. Filtered water reduces limescale in household appliances.
It is foldable, takes up less room, and can be used individually or with existing containers.

Filtration didn’t last, used it 5 times and the next water was chlorine-y.
Wanted to filter to water and make it less sour, worked for about 5 times into my pitcher, then the chlorine salty taste was back.

This thing works great… a nice safety addition when
you are travelling internationally. I was in Ukraine. The locals say the water is not really safe to drink. They buy bottled. I stayed 13 days and probably ran 5 gallons of water through this for drinking, making tea, protein shakes and cooking. The water had a nasty smell and taste before filtering. After… it was like drinking spring water with no strange flavors. Super happy with the purchase. I am heading to Croatia next and intend to just keep on using it. At first I thought it was a little spendy but when I did the math (and the convenience of not having to lug water bottles around from the store or refill stations) it was well worth the investment.

Filter a little strong when first use.
I like that it is easy to use. Gets a little slimey where the filter is placed as the water between the filter and the casing as it does not have air in between to dry. I always wash container before and after each use. I realized after drinking water from it for a week, my stomach felt weeker than normal. I did run it through hot water a few time before I started drinking water from it. It is very easy to use and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Just don’t don’t know how we’ll it cleans the water or does it actually make it worse.

Great concept
I ordered the filtering device which came with one filter and I also bought an additional 3 pack of filters for the future. I prepped the filter as instructed and packed it up for a trip. Unfortunately after the first use, the water didn’t even move through that original filter. We gave up on it until I could investigate at home. I followed additional instructions on how to use hot water or flip the filter to remove any blockage but that original filter never really worked again. So, I started fresh with one from the 3pack I bought. So far it seems to be working and I’m hoping it doesn’t get blocked after a few uses. The water filters pretty slowly but steadily and works best for me over a pitcher rather than trying to directly into a water bottle. I really like the concept so I hope that first filter issue was just a fluke.
Update: The company reached out and sent me some replacement filters. So, great customer service! Increasing to four stars.

Filters quickly and seems well made. I’ve been using it to filter Florida water. The water tastes fine but it’s still a bit yellow.

I really like this filter. It’s convenience with using it for any container. Whether it is a bottle or a pitcher it works for all sizes. It makes the water taste great. I love this mostly because of the portability, ease of use and the quality of water that you get when used.
